Buying Guide

Every unit that has a compressor is a bit different in size, where it is located and more. The main thing to consider is to have enough Quiet Fence™ so the sides and the front is covered. Most units sit close to a building. However, if your unit is portable like a generator, be sure to have enough Quiet Fence™ to go around all 4 sides.

Footprint: If you are standing in front of your unit, please do the following.  

• A. Measure the width of the unit.
• B. Measure the depth of the equipment from the front corner of the unit to the house
• C. Measure from the ground to the top of the unit.

Surface: The type of surface your equipment is sitting on

• A. Hard - Is your equipment on concrete/pavers and not on soil/dirt?
• B. Soft- Is there soil/dirt around the pad the unit sits on?
